Midseason in the Mid-Atlantic: The Region’s Top 75 Seniors
In this article:
Back in November, we introduced our regional rankings with a debut Top 75 for the Northeast's Class of 2026, highlighted by several notable shifts involving 5-star prospects. We'll be re-evaluating the full crop of 5-stars after the season.
Now in the Mid-Atlantic, we're roughly at the midway point. Private schools in D.C., Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania are a few weeks ahead of their public school counterparts, as well as the state of New Jersey, which has a later start date.
A few things to keep in mind: current postgrads who graduated in '25 and current seniors with plans to PG were not included in this Midseason Big Board and will be included in the final rankings. More importantly, this list is meant to be a projection of someone's future collegiate potential, not a reflection of their current ability. Thus, players headed to mid-major programs with a clearer path to playing time may be ranked higher than recruits bound for the ACC and Big 10. For more insight on that front, please refer to our 'How We Rank' page.
Let's quickly look at a few of the more notable storylines — head to the rankings landing page for the full Top 75:

to No. 1 in the Mid-Atlantic: The Spalding (Md.) attackman and future Maryland Terp has climbed to the No. 1 spot in the region, continuing his ascent after earning his fifth star in August. A cerebral, quarterback-type presence with elite vision, he pairs toughness with a smaller frame and has been one of the most consistent performers in the entire class. The Davidsonville native is among the headliners of a Terrapin recruiting class that has the potential to be the top-ranked incoming group when it's all said and done. - A Happy Gilmore: This spring, Richmond's lacrosse program has been garnering national attention, building off of last year's appearance in the NCAA quarterfinals and having a lot of success despite a lack of blue-chip talent relative to the Spiders' peers. However, Paul VI (Va.) midfielder
