Ryan Wodazak
About Ryan
Expert Analysis
Ty Xanders | Prep Lacrosse Scout
From a size, physicality, and athleticism standpoint, Wodazak is tailor-made for the Big 10. Watching him over the summer and in some of the Hermits’ biggest games this spring, it’s easy to envision him being a part of the Nittany Lions’ midfield rotation in the future. Wodazak is a bear to handle when he gets a full head of steam, but even when the opponents’ game plans are built around stopping him, Wodazak can get open and fire shots off the catch. He’s got incredibly powerful wrists and can score with what looks like just a simple flick, and is perfectly comfortable letting it go from 15 yards when given the opportunity. In addition, he’s rather diverse with his release points and placement. I love what I’ve seen out of Wodazak as a senior, and I’ll be intrigued to follow his development in college, as he’ll be a part of a highly talented offensive class at PSU.
