Cruz’s electric offensive performances earned him MVP honors for his team at the Committed Combine. This Towson signee displayed a well-rounded skill set, a quick burst, and filthy stick skills. His ability to shoot and distribute on the run was especially impressive. Cruz initiated from everywhere on the offensive end, blew past his defender, and then dashed into space for clean looks. His quick release and creative shot placement made Cruz’s rips nearly impossible to stop. Cruz also impressed with his ability to absorb double teams and then hit the open teammate with a timely pass.
