Will Connell Will Connell 5'8" | 170 lbs | G | Right Hand Brunswick School | 2027 CT turned in a strong performance in Brunswick’s win over Delbarton on Wednesday, finishing with at least seven saves. He came up with stops from every level—high, low, and off‑stick—and the ones that got past him were tough finishes, whether dunks on the crease or well‑placed deceptive shots. One goal slid through on a tough bounce, but overall, Connell was steady and composed throughout.

What stands out most about Connell’s game is his poise. He’s calm in the cage and doesn’t waste movement, staying compact in his low arc while letting his quick hands and reactions take over. When shooters project their hands, he explodes up top with cat‑like reflexes to close what looks like open space. While he gives up a few more rebounds than most, his pocket is dialed for the clearing game—his passes are crisp, on a line, and his eyes are always up for transition opportunities. Connell is listed as a 2026 on Brunswick’s roster, but is open to being a 2027. That flexibility, combined with his talent and experience against elite competition, should have college coaches heavily interested.
