One of the best kept secrets on Malvern Prep’s deep roster is this dynamic face-off specialist. In June and July, Pizzi manned the dot for the nationally ranked Futures 2029 team and dominated the competition. On the club circuit, Pizzi displayed the athleticism, speed, and textbook mechanics needed for the next level. He excelled at winning clamps cleanly and then exploding away from the face-off area to creating transition opportunities for his team. When he pushed the ball deep into the offensive end, Pizzi was a legitimate threat to find the back of the net. On draws that dropped to the ground, Pizzi’s non-stop motor and positioning skills allowed him to grind out a win. Pizzi’s quickness, agility and aggressive stick work enabled him to track down loose balls and secure possession in a crowd.
