During June and July, this rising junior really impressed with his ability to execute swift, but controlled drops to make saves on low shots. On those denials, Kyle displayed quick reflexes, incredible flexibility, and a willingness to use any part of his body to make a stop. Kyle also did a fantastic job of scrambling back to his feet and then making saves on rebound attempts. On the top side, Kyle’s tracking skills and fast hands produced a high percentage of clean saves. The way Kyle popped off his line on perimeter shots was impressive too. Kyle’s poise and refusal to bite on stick / head fakes enabled him to stone shot attempts around the crease. Once the ball was in his stick, Kyle routinely delivered precise clearing passes. Kyle kept his defensive unit connected via consistent communication.
