This past summer, Hengst assembled a stretch of remarkable performances. In June and July, Hengst used his electric offensive skill set to destroy opposing defenses at club circuit tournaments. Additionally, Hengst was selected as the MVP at the CK1 Blue Chip Showcase and was a standout performer at the NILLY event too. Hengst’s explosive first step, separation speed, and cutback abilities allowed him to blow past, dart around, and slash between defenders to create scoring chances. His ability to execute spins, dips, and elusive stick maneuvers in traffic is remarkable. Once Hengst gets his hands free, he will rip sidearms top shelf as well as off hip and fire bouncers past goalies. College coaches will love that Hengst can initiate from anywhere on the field and put stress on the opposing defense. Hengst is subject to frequent early slides. In those situations, Hengst does a fantastic job of recognizing that scheme and swiftly moving the ball to the open teammate.
