Yesterday, we released our preseason top five, with St. Anthony's (N.Y.) leading the way. Today, we're back with capsules for 6-10.

#6 Salisbury (Conn.) | 2025 Season: 13-4, No. 8 | 2026 Schedule TBD

After an uncharacteristic 8–9 season in 2024, the Crimson Knights rebounded in a big way last year, finishing 16–1 with multiple Top 25 wins and a run to the Prep Nationals title game before falling to Lawrenceville. While 22 seniors and postgraduates—including seven Top 150 recruits—have moved on, Tom Spinella's program remains well-positioned for 2026. The ‘Bury should control possessions behind Duke-bound face-off specialist [player_tooltip player_id='45381' first='Connor' last='Wambach'], though replacing graduating goalie Dash Lamitie is the biggest question mark. Junior Colgate commit [player_tooltip player_id='143392' first='Conor' last='Reynolds'] is expected to step in. Defensively, All-American LSM [player_tooltip player_id='17234' first='Jackson' last='Allen'] (Maryland) anchors the unit alongside [player_tooltip player_id='45432' first='Caden' last='Creech'] (Princeton) and [player_tooltip player_id='20318' first='Joe' last='Florada'] (Ohio State), with SSDM [player_tooltip player_id='78958' first='Brandon' last='Williams'] (Maryland), LSM Phil Tangredi (Army), and postgrad Devin Maguire rounding out the defense. Offensively, Brown recruit [player_tooltip player_id='17474' first='Tyler' last='Ramirez'] headlines a talented group that includes Virginia-bound lefty [player_tooltip player_id='16975' first='James' last='Whitehorse'], postgrad Chris Cobb (Lehigh), juniors [player_tooltip player_id='128955' first='Garrett' last='Sullivan'] (Syracuse) and [player_tooltip player_id='125509' first='Brayden' last='Belski'] (Yale), and promising sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='168590' first='Owen' last='Pawlowski'].

#7 Loomis Chaffee (Conn.) | 2025 Season: 16-1, No. 2 | 2026 Schedule TBD

Now a household name, the Pelicans are coming off the best year in program history, having won yet another Founder's League title to cap a sensational spring. A ton of talent has moved on to the next level; however, there's quite a strong foundation of talent on this year's team, including 19 Division I commits and a tremendous sophomore class led by [player_tooltip player_id='125324' first='OJ' last='Ika']. A small but promising group of PGs joins the fray in Missouri-bred midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='123189' first='Luke' last='Koman'] (UNC), attack/middie Griffin Boston (Loyola), and face-off specialist [player_tooltip player_id='25372' first='Hayden' last='Goozh'] (Penn). Five-star LSM [player_tooltip player_id='42679' first='Michael' last='Brennan'], a Harvard commit, helps set the tone defensively along with [player_tooltip player_id='123070' first='Saki' last='Nicholas'] (Colgate), and there will be a new goalie following Liam O'Keefe's graduation. At attack, there's a strong 1-2 punch of seniors in lefty [player_tooltip player_id='16550' first='Milki' last='Conway-Reppert'] and dynamic dodger [player_tooltip player_id='20312' first='Jayden' last='Rodriguez'], a Penn commit. Look for increased output from the junior class, including a trio of Penn commits, Top 100 recruit [player_tooltip player_id='18525' first='Hayes' last='Griffin'] (Notre Dame) on defense, Brown-bound [player_tooltip player_id='19343' first='Danny' last='Lopez'], and Yale face-off recruit [player_tooltip player_id='125416' first='Julien' last='Watts']. Given how much the Pelicans lost to graduation, I'd expect them to get better as the year progresses to get ramped up for May.

#8 Spalding (Md.) | 2025 Season: 18-2, No. 3 | 2026 Schedule

Powered by a phenomenal senior class that helped deliver one of the best runs in program history, the Cavaliers saw their season end in a heartbreaking overtime loss to Calvert Hall in the MIAA title game, a sour ending that should fuel Spalding's returners in 2026. While much of the starting lineup must be replaced, five-star attackman [player_tooltip player_id='37501' first='Brady' last='Mollot'] (Maryland) returns to orchestrate the offense, and he's as proven a QB as there is in high school lacrosse. The midfield brings veteran stability in [player_tooltip player_id='123773' first='Brody' last='Moss'] (Navy), Carson Blair (UMBC), and highly athletic SSDM [player_tooltip player_id='123716' first='Chris' last='George'], a Jacksonville commit. Defensively, the Cavaliers boast a trio of Navy commits in senior [player_tooltip player_id='123748' first='Sawyer' last='Grant'] and juniors [player_tooltip player_id='165660' first='Brady' last='LaRochelle'] and [player_tooltip player_id='143485' first='Jackson' last='Hines'], plus talented transfer goalie [player_tooltip player_id='120670' first='Braedon' last='Goloboski'] (St. John's). Seniors [player_tooltip player_id='123757' first='Ryan' last='Sullivan'] (St. Joseph's) and junior [player_tooltip player_id='165517' first='Colby' last='Evans'] (Towson) headline a group of potential breakout candidates, with promising young talent waiting in the wings. As always, the ceiling will be defined by leadership from the senior class, making it compelling to see who steps up after the graduation of such an influential group.

#9 Haverford (Pa.) | 2025 Season: 17-4, No. 7 | 2026 Schedule

Similarly, the Fords rode an exceptional senior class, as Haverford stacked marquee wins en route to a share of an Inter-Ac title before toppling archrival Malvern Prep in the PAISAA championship game. This spring, however, the picture changes—particularly on defense and among the specialists—following the departure of several multi-year starters. Up the middle, [player_tooltip player_id='120638' first='Jackson' last='Gillis'] (Notre Dame) takes over in cage as a highly regarded, imposing presence, while [player_tooltip player_id='82311' first='Gavin' last='Morrissey'] (Villanova) steps in as the primary option at the X after handling the bulk of the draws last season with Griff Meyer sidelined for half the year. Defensively, seniors [player_tooltip player_id='45362' first='Anthony' last='Costa'] (Brown), [player_tooltip player_id='82250' first='Teddy' last='Gillin'] (Cornell), and Charlie Regan (Navy) will be counted on for leadership, alongside a junior class headlined by [player_tooltip player_id='23606' first='Conor' last='Morsell'] (Notre Dame), the engine of the offense. He'll again be paired with [player_tooltip player_id='127151' first='Chris' last='Burnetta'], a versatile, savvy threat committed to Harvard, while touted Duke verbal [player_tooltip player_id='24324' first='Finn' last='French'] provides a relentless two-way presence likely to see an expanded offensive role. Depth has rarely been a concern for the Fords, but it's worth watching who emerges—from seasoned seniors to the next wave of young contributors like [player_tooltip player_id='168070' first='Michael' last='Olender'] and [player_tooltip player_id='142367' first='Sam' last='O'Kane'].

#10 Culver (Ind.) | 2025 Season: 15-2, No. 11 | 2026 Schedule

Across the country, the loss of each program's 2025 class has been significant, and Culver is no exception. The Eagles will roll out a new-look starting lineup and coaching staff, with longtime college assistant Keith Euker now at the helm. Fortunately, he'll have no shortage of talent to work with, including five-star goalie and athletic lefty [player_tooltip player_id='120633' first='Bodhi' last='Harmon'], and No. 2 junior [player_tooltip player_id='123009' first='Riley' last='Woods'], a Princeton commit from Ontario who scored over 50 goals as a sophomore. At midfield, Parker Prater (Syracuse), [player_tooltip player_id='39870' first='Cormac' last='Scane'] (Penn), [player_tooltip player_id='16862' first='Hayden' last='Delaney'] (Dartmouth), and [player_tooltip player_id='39840' first='Bennett' last='Hendricks'] (Brown) can all win matchups. On attack, Tennessee native [player_tooltip player_id='163159' first='PJ' last='Kennedy'] could make an immediate impact as a sophomore transfer, while Canadian junior Bryce Lamoureux, a Yale commit, is a breakout candidate. Defensively, [player_tooltip player_id='16968' first='Flynt' last='Leverett'] (Princeton) anchors a deep, athletic unit that includes juniors [player_tooltip player_id='45351' first='Max' last='Pasquale'] (Boston U.) and [player_tooltip player_id='123021' first='Andrew' last='Scarlett'] (Johns Hopkins), among others.

Yesterday, we released our preseason top five, with St. Anthony's (N.Y.) leading the way. Today, we're back with capsules for 6-10.
