Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
This Utah signee owns impressive size and speed, polished stick skills and a physical edge. That list of assets enabled Kastroll to be a defensive force against Perkiomen School. He caused turnovers with powerful stick checks, crafty pokes and by taking the body. Once the ball hit the grass, Kastroll vacuumed up the ground balls and swiftly carried the ball over the midfield line. Kastroll, also knocked down a couple of passes with his active stick. Still, what may have been most impressive about Kastroll on Sunday was the composure he demonstrated. Whether he was on an island 1v1 or clearing the ball or rolling back to drop a pass to the goalie, Kastroll remained poised at all times and executed the play Hill needed from him at that moment.
