It doesn’t take long to figure out who Miles is related to. A 6-foot-5 defender who plays for 2Way and Brunswick, he already looks like his older brother Max, a highly ranked ’28 committed to Notre Dame. Between watching him live and going through his highlight tape, two things stood out.
First, he’s eager to slide and arrives with purpose. Against the Gold team, he delivered a huge, clean hit in transition—a theme that shows up throughout his highlights. His long strides let him cover ground quickly, and he finishes those approaches with hard stick and body checks.
Second, his stick is legit, and he’s a threat in transition. He scored a highlight-worthy behind-the-back goal against the White team in the first game, and I remember watching him score in the Naptown Championship over the summer, too. Marschner wants to push the tempo, and once he gets into the offensive end, he wants to stay until his coach calls him off.
