His hand speed is excellent, and he has plenty of technical skill to rely on when he is not winning strictly on the clamp. He takes pride in his toughness, grit, and relentless approach to securing possession, doing whatever it takes to win the battle at the stripe. Maraglino possesses exceptional hands and a deep toolbox of counters, consistently giving himself and his wings a strong chance to control the draw. In 50/50 scrums, he rarely loses, using leverage, balance, and competitiveness to come out with the ball. Once he gains possession, MJ becomes an offensive threat; he can push transition, score on the run, or hit open teammates with sharp, timely passes.
