Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Saturday was the third consecutive 3A championship contest in which Goldstein has been a major contributor for Radnor. Goldstein saved his best state title performance for his final game in a Radnor uniform, as he posted three goals to go along with three assists. This Cornell-bound attackman stuffed that stat book despite receiving extra attention from La Salle’s defensive unit. His quick burst and filthy change of direction moves put pressure on La Salle’s defense all day. Goldstein’s most intriguing goal of the day was his first one. On that play, Goldstein carried the ball through X, executed a hesi-move on his defender, then streaked around the cage and unleashed a righty sidearm shot into the net. The trifecta of Goldstein’s field vision, timing, and elite stick skills produced creative dimes.

earned All-State (EPCLA) honors for Radnor as a junior en route to a State-Championship runner-up finish. This past season, Tommy scored 93 points on 45 goals and 48 assists. He helped the Raptors win the PIAA 3A State Championship in 2024, putting more respect on the family name with 25 assists as a sophomore. Goldstein continues to develop into a complete player, whereas before he was primarily a distributor. He totaled three goals and two assists in a stunning 11-3 victory over LaSalle this past season. Tommy is a versatile weapon that brings balance to his team’s attack line. He shows a long-standing lineage of lacrosse IQ and understands the importance of rebounding from a loss. Some have dubbed him Tommy “The Final Boss” Goldstein, who has been one of the fastest players in the area since his days as a youngster. He grew up playing up but has since found a new gear at the Varsity level. Tommy looks to break the 100-point milestone as a senior. He focuses on crisp passing, dodging hard, and playing a complete game for 48 minutes. Goldstein is grittier than you would think for such a skilled player with arguably the best shake moves in the state. Verbally committed to Cornell.
