Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Coming into the 2026 season Much was known as a tenacious SSDM who excelled at scooping up ground balls and then pushing Radnor’s transition game. Those elite SSDM skills continue to have a positive impact on every Radnor game, but this spring Much’s role as an O-Mid has increased significantly. Much has responded by displaying a polished 6v6 offensive skill set that has produced 20 goals during is breakout junior campaign. In 2026 Much proved he can work as an initiator from anywhere on the field. The combination of Much’s quick first step and his ability to slip underneath defenders has enabled him to charge to the net for finishes in close. Much has also displayed the ability to blow past the initial defender, get down the alley and then crank from distance while on the run. College coaches will love Much’s ability to run through significant contact while maintaining possession and that he is a plus player on the face off wing.

This two-way midfielder had his offensive game cooking on Tuesday night, as Much scored a pair of goals in Radnor’s victory. The first came on a play where Much caught a pass in traffic, dashed between two defenders and then fired a sidearm off the goalie’s hip and into the net. On his second goal, Much dashed down the left alley, dipped underneath his man, flipped his stick to his inside hand and finished to the far corner. At the other end of the field, Much was key part of Radnor’s stingy zone defense. His physical play, smooth switches and smart recoveries helped limit Springfield’s offense to four goals. Much was also a plus player on the face off wing as well as in Radnor’s clearing game.
