Unofficially, Jakuc won 12 of the 17 face-offs (70%) in this contest. The majority of those wins were via clean pick-n-pops that enabled Jakuc to explode into the offensive and create scoring chances for EA. On one of those charges downfield, Jakuc buried a high-to-low shot into the net. Jakuc’s polished stick skills also produced several nice passes while he was on the move.
