The outstanding play of this lefty scoring machine is one of the reasons Episcopal has consistently been ranked in the Top 20 nationally over the last month. Dennis is an athletic and extremely shifty attack prospect with filthy shooting skills. Those assets are complemented by a quick burst that enables Dennis to regularly cook initial defenders, forcing opposing defenses to slide early and often. His ability to change directions multiple times on the same run to the net is remarkable. Dennis can also ping corners from distance via sidearms or overhands. This 2027 has a quick release, so he can squeeze off a shot in the tightest of spaces. Recently, Dennis scored three goals against Brunswick (Conn.), four goals in a win over Germanton Academy, and five goals in EA’s defeat of Penn Charter.       

In 2025, this quick twitch lefty proved to be one of top goal scorers in Pennsylvania’s Class of 2027.  Dennis (31 goals in 2025) owns an explosive first step, incredible speed, elusive change of direction moves and polished stick skills. That list of assets enables Dennis to blow past his initial defender, evade sliding poles and then finish on the run. Dennis has also proven that he can consistently dip underneath a defender or slip through double teams to create scoring opportunities. This junior’s shooting skills are impressive too. Dennis excels at cranking shots into the net from the low lefty attack spot as well as higher up on the left wing. Plus, Dennis can initiate from X, drive up the hash and then unleash a jump shot for a goal. His high IQ and unselfish nature make Dennis an excellent two-man game operator.

Reid Dennis Reid Dennis 5'9" | 160 lbs | A/M | Left Hand Episcopal Academy | 2027 PA finished his sophomore season with 40 points on 31 goals and nine assists. Most importantly, Reid was an instrumental lefty attackman who helped guide Episcopal Academy to claim a share of the Inter-Ac League Championship title. He is super efficient with the ball in his stick – if you blink, you might miss it! Dennis dropped jaws with his behind-the-back creativity as well as his lightning-fast dip-and-dunks. He works well without the ball and knows how to play off of his teammates. Reid can pull it on the run as well as bring it from the outside with his feet set. He sometimes hangs out on that back pipe where most lefties use hockey hand-eye coordination to pick up the trash and put in a back-breaking rebound. Dennis is definitely someone you have to account for on the crease because he is slippery cutting on the inside. He has shown flashes of his feeding ability, with more to come over the next two years.

Reid Dennis is a left-handed attackman/midfielder. He represents what it means to have grit, athleticism, dedication, and versatility as an athlete. He puts up high scores during games, most notably a hat-trick during his match-up against Malvern Prep, which led his team to a 6-5 win. Despite his other accolades, Dennis can put nearly any goal tender to shame with his fake and finish. His fearless attitude is sure to take him far in his career.
