I’m going to count Liam Villanueva as an attackman, given that he played down low for Lawrenceville at NHSLS. However, his versatility allows him to line up at either spot on offense. Villanueva is an all-left speedster who impacts the offense by scoring in bunches, both on the run and with his feet set. He creates shots with quick one-move-and-go dodges that help him get over the top on sweeps or down the alley for quality looks. He has also developed a natural leaner-type release on the run that has been effective in his scoring, leaning to one pipe and shooting to the other rather than dropping his head. His wrists are another major asset, helping him catch and shoot from distance or finish quickly off cuts in tight before goalies can react.
