June has been packed with events, and from Showtime to NHSLS to the Iron Bowl and Main Stage, several 2028 attackmen made their mark. Here are five attackmen who impressed across the June circuit:

The combination of Bergey and Luke Mullen at NHSLS was as entertaining as ever. Against Lawrenceville, the event champions and top defense, he finished with three goals, an assist, and a couple more plays that easily could have turned into assists. Bergey's slickness as both a scorer and feeder is off the charts. He does much of his work just above the goal line, where he has developed a strong package of moves, both over the top and underneath defenders. Going over the top, he uses his speed and underhand release to squeeze shots off even with pressure all over him. Underneath is where he really thrived at NHSLS. Because he is not an inside-roll type of dodger and can skip feeds through tight windows, he is a difficult player to slide to. The quickness and craftiness in his feeding game have also been outstanding. In June at multiple events, he was throwing underhand zips across the field, lever passes before slides arrived, mixing in BTBs, all while looking off defenders. Add in the fact that he is a pest on the ride and does goalies as dirty as possible in tight, and he is a player you have to watch.

Wyatt Giles, a Midwest product, has had his name circled at all three events where I have seen him this summer: Showtime, Iron Bowl, and Naptown. The speedy X attackman has plenty in his game to stress opposing defenses. From behind the cage, he can explode up the hashes and finish with jump shots using either hand, while also mixing in inside rolls and question-mark dodges as secondary options. With his top-end speed already difficult to handle, his changes of direction and pace make him even tougher to stay with and slide to. Even while looking to create his own shot, he keeps his head up, scans the field well, and can step free to skip passes through the defense.

Hero Glowaki may not always be the focal point with Mad Dog National, but at Main Stage he took on a leading role. Though listed as a lefty, he scored plenty of goals with his right hand over the course of the event, doing so in a variety of ways. He produced from behind the cage and up the hashes as a dodger, in front of the cage on the run, and off the ball with timely backcuts. He has a crafty, snappy windup and release that flows naturally into fakes, feeds, and deceptively quick shots, whether from range or in tight. Around the crease, he slips into soft spots to punish second slides, and he also showed a strong feel for the field by threading feeds into tight windows.

I'm going to count Liam Villanueva as an attackman, given that he played down low for Lawrenceville at NHSLS. However, his versatility allows him to line up at either spot on offense. Villanueva is an all-left speedster who impacts the offense by scoring in bunches, both on the run and with his feet set. He creates shots with quick one-move-and-go dodges that help him get over the top on sweeps or down the alley for quality looks. He has also developed a natural leaner-type release on the run that has been effective in his scoring, leaning to one pipe and shooting to the other rather than dropping his head. His wrists are another major asset, helping him catch and shoot from distance or finish quickly off cuts in tight before goalies can react.

I really liked the production Wade Neugebauer gave 3d Georgia at the Iron Bowl. He is an X attackman who brings balanced production as both a scorer and a feeder. His speed showed up right away when I saw him score up the hashes, and once you add in the threat to go either direction, he becomes difficult to cover straight up. He also has the change-of-direction and finalizer-type moves behind the cage, plus inside rolls and over-the-top finishes on the island, which make him even tougher to handle. From what I have seen on tape, he is at his best when he draws a slide and picks apart the defense as a passer, while also playing well off the ball as a mirror option for quick-stick finishes.
