Hero Glowaki may not always be the focal point with Mad Dog National, but at Main Stage he took on a leading role. Though listed as a lefty, he scored plenty of goals with his right hand over the course of the event, doing so in a variety of ways. He produced from behind the cage and up the hashes as a dodger, in front of the cage on the run, and off the ball with timely backcuts. He has a crafty, snappy windup and release that flows naturally into fakes, feeds, and deceptively quick shots, whether from range or in tight. Around the crease, he slips into soft spots to punish second slides, and he also showed a strong feel for the field by threading feeds into tight windows.

A crafty left-handed finisher, Hero has developed into a complete offensive threat, with the ability to both create and capitalize on opportunities within the flow of an offense. Over the past year at IMG Academy, he’s made tremendous strides, sharpening his dodging, improving his decision-making, and learning how to make severe damage without the ball. His off-ball timing and finishing instincts make him a constant scoring threat, especially when paired with strong right-handed playmakers. Also a member of Mad Dog West Elite, Hero brings a balanced, opportunistic style that translates well to higher levels of play. With his progression and feel for the game, he could end up being a steal for the right college program.
