Michael Campanile | Prep Lacrosse Scout
A lefty Canadian? Sign me up. Craiggs shows the extra level you’d expect from a player who developed north of the border. In the spring, he fit in mostly as a finisher with IMG thanks to his silky mitts and quick release—catching everything thrown his way and letting it go in a flash, the kind of timing required for backside pipe one-timers in the box. When he needs to be accurate, his snappy release takes over, allowing him to pick his spots. He showed some dodging in the spring, but it’s become more apparent this summer, serving as an initiator for his offenses. Defenses are forced to slide because he can pull out shots right around defenders and has the physicality to get into them, going under or over the top for looks. His feeding game is on a different level: he pulls out lever feeds and skips that not only find teammates, but open them up.
