Choquette is another one who impressed me against Landon, having already turned in a few strong performances in non-conference play. Playing a physical brand of lacrosse, he's got a Division I-ready frame already, and one of the biggest differences from the fall and summer to now is that he knows how to use his size to his advantage. He's never shy about throwing it around and was responsible for laying the best hit I've seen this spring in a loss at Bullis. He's constantly factoring into the Eagles' 10-man ride, has passed the test when dodged 1v1, and seldom makes mistakes, rotating and communicating at a high level. He's smooth off the ground and fundamentally sound, playing for a program known for developing defenders and playing great team defense.

Opportunistic in the way he creates offense, Lally is a player whom I developed an appreciation for over the summer while playing for the Crabs. This spring, with Loyola having a sneaky amount of depth on the offensive end, he's made the most of his playing time. During the Dons' most recent win against St. Mary's, he came off a pick on a long dodge and netted a bouncer, and scored in a similar fashion to get the scoring started for Loyola when I saw them against Georgetown Prep. Providing more substance than flair, he's a strong shooter on the run who puts a ton behind it, plus he knows how to open up opportunities by working off-ball. In the past, I've liked what I've seen from Lally when he's mixing it up between the lines and playing hard-nosed defense, too. Right now, he projects as a recruit who could wind up in one of the better conferences in Division III at an absolute minimum.

McAndrew is an extremely intelligent and efficient player who quietly elevates the level of play of everyone around him with what he brings to a midfield line. He scored in every game I saw in March and was steadily productive throughout non-conference play. His coaching staff and opposing coaches alike praised his ability to handle every responsibility at a high level, as he's constantly setting great picks and creating offense both for himself and for others with how much he excels off-ball. Incredibly two-handed, McAndrew has found success dodging the alleys, but he's also capable of making things happen off the re-dodge. His numbers may not jump off the page, but McAndrew is just so productive for how infrequently the ball is in his stick, and it seems as though the Prep offense is at its best when he's on the field.

Neavin stepped into a starting role for the Hall heading into its matchup against then-No. 1 Lawrenceville. While the game didn't go the Cardinals' way, he still recorded an unofficial tally of 13 saves and held his own against elite competition. Neavin brings a distinct energy between the pipes, showcasing excellent hand speed and forcing shooters to earn every look. He plays with a calculated aggressiveness, often baiting shooters and making acrobatic stops. His ability to move quickly pipe-to-pipe highlights his athleticism, and he's proven to be reliable on low offerings. After securing clean saves, Neavin is quick to spark transition with crisp outlet passes. Though he's still settling into the role, his trajectory is promising. As he continues to gain confidence, Neavin looks destined to continue elevating his game even further.

Given that he's in my neck of the woods, I was a bit late to catch on to Vaughan, but I liked the flashes he showed in July at NILLY and New Balance. After McDonogh graduated most of its starting lineup, he stepped into a significant role for a new-look Eagles squad in 2026 and has looked the part, especially with his stick work and ability to scoop up timely ground balls. That was especially evident in the waning moments of McDonogh's comeback win over Spalding on Tuesday. Vaughan helped create the game-winning goal by picking the ball up off the ground and quickly moving it to a clearing middie, who then found St. Joe's commit [player_tooltip player_id='120612' first='TC' last='Goodman'] for the dramatic finish. Overall, Vaughan is highly active and disruptive in passing lanes, and he plays with under control at all times. I like where his game is heading, and it feels like his best lacrosse is still ahead of him.
