was one of the few bright spots for McDonogh in the MIAA Championship. While not perfect, he finished with four goals and consistently found ways to produce. Most of his damage came in transition, where he showed his ability to get shots off quickly on the catch. He scored twice as the point man, added one on the extra-man unit, and picked up another off a ride-back with seconds remaining.
This performance boosts his stock, especially with McDonogh set to lose

to graduation. Goodman looks poised to take on a larger role, showing he can score in a variety of ways—changing release points and shot placement—against top defenders in a high-pressure, championship setting.

Goodman is a slick and versatile player with a deep bag of offensive skills. He’s quick, deceptive, and able to score in a variety of ways, with one of his best weapons being a lightning-fast release that often beats goalies to a spot. As a dodger, he changes pace and direction well, keeping defenders off balance, and his vision allows him to thread passes through tight windows with deception and varying release points. What really sets Goodman apart is his two-man game expertise as a picker. He communicates nonverbally, adjusts his positioning to ensure contact, and times his slips perfectly to exploit defensive breakdowns. Whether initiating or finishing, Goodman has the awareness and skill to consistently create high-quality chances—making him a dangerous presence in any offensive set.

Another member of a loaded Longhorn attack unit on Sunday, Goodman is a bigger body, standing close to six feet tall. Recording two goals in the first game I saw, he finished with at least four tallies on the day and was generally an impactful presence for his squad. He did a great job above the cage and was constantly attacking his man from the wings or sweeping across the top, but also showed the ability to bury slick finishes within a few yards of the cage. A Howard County native who was playing in his own backyard, Goodman has phenomenal stick skills and is a two-handed weapon who puts himself in spots to succeed by constantly keeping his feet moving.
