Written up by Michael Campanile coming away from his dominant showing at The Preview earlier this month as a guest for 2Way, Fournier turned in another super impressive campaign that simply couldn’t be glossed over. Known for his ability as a goal-scorer but more well-rounded than I originally thought, Fournier blew me away with his vision and passing ability, often connecting with George Irish. He just seemed to have a knack for making the right play and the right pass, whether that was from below the goal line, or more frequently up top and from the wings. Fournier’s incredibly accurate as a shooter, dazzling with his placement, going low and away or offside high to beat a talented crop of goalies at the event.

Aiden Fournier was a late addition to The Preview roster, but it didn’t take long for him to make an impression. By the end of his first game—during which he scored four goals and added an assist against BBL—many were asking, “Who is that kid?” The lefty attackman does serious damage from the wing, punishing defenders who give him even a sliver of space. With his feet set, he can catch and release in an instant, generating impressive velocity on his shot. When catching on the move, he loves to sweep to the middle and will bury his chances if given an opening.
Fournier also stands out for his passing touch and creativity. He uses varied release points to slip feeds around defenders and hit backside cutters with precision. Already earning varsity minutes as a freshman at McDonogh, Fournier has the skill set and confidence to become one of the top offensive names to watch in Maryland’s 2028 class.
