I was on-site for all five sessions of the rising junior portion, plus the All-Star Game. Given how many high-level players were in attendance, we’ll be breaking up the recaps by position — attack, midfield, then a combined post for defense/LSM, goalie, and face-off men. First up, let’s look at the standout attackmen on teams 1 through 4.
Please note that all stats are unofficial. Sitting on a field for 12+ hours a day probably accounted for a few misses here and there.
Earning an All-Star nod, Balsamo turned in a highly impressive few days, finishing with an unofficial mark of seven goals and four helpers (while splitting minutes on attack) across five games then posting a pair of assists in the All-Star Game. He’s got a lot of attributes that make him a top-end attack prospect. Time and time again, I marked him down for making some beautiful cuts to create scoring opportunities. As a carrier, he got his hands free regularly and distributed at a high level, often from the righty wing. As a scorer, he beat his man to the middle by utilizing a super-quick first step and tremendous change of direction and also found the back of the net with time and room on a handful of occasions. Balsamo posted 14 goals and 10 assists as a starting attackman for the Flyers this spring.

I’ve been a big Thurlow fan since the fall, and he followed up a strong November circuit by asserting himself nicely as a sophomore for the Blue Wave this spring. Although he started his Maverik campaign slow, he started to turn the corner on Tuesday afternoon, posting six goals and three assists over the final three games of the week. He’s smart and composed with the ball, and even when he wasn’t putting points on the board early on, he showed well and made the appropriate play. Once he started to hit his stride, Thurlow scored on a broken play off the ride, on interior finishes, via a smooth jumper, and on dodges to 5×5.

Between an excellent showing a few days earlier at the Prime Time Invitational and an eight-goal week at Showtime, there’s no doubt that Ripple has raised his stock as of late. While his size may be a concern to many, he makes it work, and I’d have to imagine that he’ll add weight to his 145-pound frame as he gets deeper into his career. His skill level, however, cannot be denied. He found the net on inside rolls, step-downs, pretty low-to-high offerings, and by getting back to the middle of the field on the run. More than anything, he made the most of his opportunities and didn’t settle for takes that were just okay. Overall, there’s a lot to like about Ripple’s offensive skill set, plus he puts in the work on the ride, too.

On a team that had a hard time generating much of anything from the attack, Towers was a bright spot and earned a spot in the All-Star Game, where he put up two goals and an assist. The son of Carolina Chaos head coach Andy Towers, the lefty was relatively quiet in the middle portion of the event but ended on a high note, following up a season in which he posted 24 goals and 11 assists. A savvy head-up dodger, Towers had some gorgeous passes through the defense and put his high lacrosse IQ on display all week, keeping his feet moving and scoring off of some great C-cuts.

Peck presents quite an argument as the most dangerous goal-scorer in the class, having posted an incredible 57-goal, 23-assist stat line in his first year with the back-to-back national champion Big Red. At Showtime, he only strengthened that argument, finding the back of the net at least nine times, a campaign highlighted by a five-goal game on Tuesday morning. He’s an outstanding shooter, but there’s a lot more to Peck’s game than that, as he’s capable of dodging through traffic and throwing a fake or two to move the goalie before beating in tight. Doing an excellent job without the ball, he mixes up his release points as well as any ’26.

Parla only recently jumped on my radar, and although his production wasn’t anything to write anything home about, I love what he brings to the table and am looking forward to seeing what he does the rest of the summer. He’s crafty, athletic, intelligent, and has a strong mid-range shot, working well in tandem with a loaded attack unit for Team 3. His club program has made a habit out of producing top prospects at his position year in and year out, and Parla seems to be next in line out of the Peach State.

An incoming Lawrenceville transfer via Santa Fe Christian (Calif.), Rossettie put up a 100-point season for the Eagles before deciding to join the Big Red this fall. He’s more of a goal-scorer than a passer, but I was highly impressed with his vision and feeding ability, as he had some superb looks throughout the week. He’s got awesome hands and is a great shooter from the right-handed wing, and also did a nice job getting to his spots as a dodger.

Mollot was somewhat of a revelation for the Cavaliers this spring, exploding for 27 goals and 37 assists for the MIAA semifinalists. At Showtime, he proved to be one of the most productive feeders, racking up at least six helpers to finish with an unofficial mark of 11 points, including an impressive one-goal, three-assist outing on Tuesday morning. The son of former Maryland All-American Mike Mollot, he was awesome in fast break situations, displaying soft hands and superb vision while distributing the rock to his highly capable linemates. Although undersized, he can hurt you as a dodger as well, executing some pretty inside rolls, a diving tally, and one of the better goals of the event, faking an inside roll and burying a jumper.
