Expert Analysis
Carey Smith | Prep Lacrosse Scout
During the first week of April, the former Army commit announced that he had committed to Boston University. His quick burst, deep bag of moves, and elite shooting skills should make Neally an impactful addition for the Terriers. Neally can initiate from anywhere in the offensive end, but he is especially dangerous when he operates at X. From behind the net, Neally can cook his initial defender and then turn the corner for a dunk. Or he can fire a sidearm as he crosses GLE. Or he can drive up the hash, then turn and fire a jump shot. His shifty changes of direction and elusive stick maneuvers make Neally impossible to defend 1v1. Neally is also a filthy perimeter shooter who can crank accurate as well as powerful sidearms or overhands into the net.

Read EvaluationKurtis King | Prep Lacrosse Scout
A Corning, NY native, he arguably has some of the best hands and finishing abilities in the 2026 class. He is a quick, right-handed attackman who will beat you off the dodge with a quick first step. He distinguishes between X, the crease, and the right wing. His creativity on the inside is what sets his game apart from the next. He has a snappy release from the outside that keeps the goalie and defense guessing. The junior had the OT game-winner in the New England East League Championship game last year. Neally has all the attributes of a well-rounded attackman, which makes him perfect to shine at the Division One level. Army landed a good one!
