‘s stellar play on offense was key to the Gaels success against Tahoma. His first goal came after getting to the middle, and he wisely changed planes on his shot to throw the goalie off. He later notched another 3 goals, one of which was a perfectly placed snipe that went top shelf. Cambeiro delivered an assist as well, in what turned out to be a 5 point effort from the sophomore.

Ryan Cambeiro found the back of the net twice against Mira Costa Tuesday night. Both of his goals were very similar as well. The crafty attackman used deceptive face dodges to create just enough of a window to get underneath the defense. From there, he placed the ball well. Although the Gaels didn’t get the win, he continues to produce.

went to work against the Spanish Springs Cougars, scoring 2 goals. His first goal of game came in the first quarter, when he snuck a shot by the goalie to make it 3-0 Gaels. Then in the second half, he utilized his inside roll move to get in front of the crease to score. All in all, it was a good showing from him and the capitalized

Ryan Cambeiro (pictured) was one of the more exciting players to watch last spring, getting to his spots and unleashing serious heat on his shots. He also has the ability to step up in crunch time and deliver big-time goals. I also like how he can thread skip passes on a rope. Expect him to take another step forward in the coming months.

, can really let it rip from range. When he’s given time and room, he’s essentially a knockdown shooter. Cambeiro can also put his foot in the ground and take it to the rack by utilizing his frame. In addition to his scoring abilities, he can make slick skip passes and he gives good effort during rides.

The 6’0 attackmen can rack up points in a variety of ways. He can get open for catch and shoot opportunities from long distance or he can dish out accurate skip passes to his fellow middies and attack. I also expect him to get downhill a bit more this summer, as he’ll no longer have upperclassmen guarding him every game.
