Balanced Cougars Take Down Bishop Gorman, 9–7

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Cougars and Bishop Gorman went head to head for the second time this season on Friday night. The Gaels got the better of the Cougars last time in overtime, and it was evident that the Cougars wanted even the season series. They came out strong, getting ahead 4-3 after the first quarter. In the second, it stayed fairly close, but the Cougars pushed their lead to 7-4 going into halftime. Gorman added two goals in the third to the Cougars' one, making it 8-6 heading into the fourth. He also delivered swift checks and snagged GBs, one of which he took the rest of the way, protecting his stick with defenders hounding him before finishing it.
