About Piper

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Non-sport wise, I have received a healthy living reward presented by the Senate of Pennsylvania. This reward represents a commitment to healthy living by striving to eat right and get plenty of exercise, as well as showing self respect and respect for their parents, teachers and peers. Also making smart decisions and having a positive attitude no matter the situations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

With having three younger brothers, leadership has been a naturally developed skill. I find myself in many everyday situations where my leadership has had the chance to be executed for the better. During the fall, when my brothers play football, I work the concession stand. Last season we made a significant amount of money compared to the past.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges when it comes to athletics. In third grade I had a compound fracture on my wrist, and then along with complications I wasn’t fully able to return to athletics until 6th grade. Then, come seventh grade, I tore my ACL and was out for 8-ish months.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for somewhere with good academics, but also a place with a good lacrosse team. I want to be pushed and be able to find the best version of me. Location wise, I would prefer to be on the East.
