Over the weekend, Busza announced his verbal commitment to Hofstra. This athletic and versatile offensive prospect is a major reason for the resurgence of Ridley lacrosse over the last two seasons. Busza is an extremely shifty ball carrier who can initiate from anywhere on the field. His ability to explode past his defender and then elude slides wreaks havoc on opposing defenses. Once he finds open space, Busza can ping corners or fire bouncers into the net while on the run. Busza is especially dangerous when he operates at X. From behind the cage, Busza’s ability to string together multiple cutback moves allows him to separate from the initial defender and then streak around the net for a scoring chance in close. Busza also does a fantastic job of dodging from X, drawing the slide and then feeding the open teammate. Busza’s non-stop motor and aggressive stick make him a ground ball machine.
