About Jason
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I would describe myself as a versatile player who impacts every part of the field. I'm a strong inside finisher with the ability to score on the run or from distance. I pride myself on being an unselfish playmaker who pressures defenses, creates opportunities for teammates, and thrives in transition.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I bring a high lacrosse IQ, allowing me to anticipate plays and make smart decisions. I compete with intensity, push myself to improve, and keep energy high for my teammates. Off the field, I lead by example with dedication and a positive attitude.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I work a part time job on the weekends.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Playing sports has taught me how to help my teammates grow into stronger players while also pushing myself to improve both on and off the field. I’ve had opportunities to give back through volunteering, including running youth camps and distributing meals and resources during the holidays. These experiences have strengthened my teamwork, leadership, and commitment to serving my community.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
One significant challenge I’ve faced is transitioning into high school academics while being a multi-sport athlete. Balancing schoolwork and sports taught me time management, discipline, and resilience, and helped me learn how to perform under pressure both on and off the field.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college where I can compete at a high level in lacrosse and continue to grow as a player. I believe I can make a meaningful impact on the field while contributing to a team-focused environment. Academically, I am looking for a school that challenges me and supports my growth both in and out of the classroom.
