The athleticism and versatility this Lehigh University commit displayed in Sallies’ game against Malvern Prep was off the charts. First, Korb is a standout 1-on-1 defender who can simply lock off the opponent’s number one option. When his man does manage to secure possession, Korb is relentless in his quest to create a turnover via well-timed stick checks and a healthy dose of physical contact. Korb owns a high IQ and plays with composure. So, he can quarterback Salesianum’s defense in pressure-filled situations. As a nice bonus, Korb is an extraordinary longstick face-off option. He won several clamps vs. MP and advanced the ball into the offensive end for quality possessions.
