This summer one of the most decorated underclassmen prospects in Pennsylvania has exited Downingtown West and transferred to Delaware powerhouse Salesianum. For a 2029 prospect, Poet is extremely polished and owns a great deal of big game experience. His impressive agility, quick reflexes and active stick enable Poet to cover every inch of the cage. He can slide post to post in a flash and execute swift drops. Poet also tracks long range shooters through traffic remarkably well. Poet makes a high percentage of clean saves which allows him to quickly distribute the ball to an open teammate. College coaches will love his smartly timed and accurate clearing passes. Poet is an athletic and speedy goalie who will not hesitate to scramble out of the crease and secure possession of a loose ball. Finally, Poet does a fantastic job of communicating with his defensive unit.
