Hudson is a versatile pole who possesses the athleticism, speed, and skills to play both LSM and close defense. His smooth lateral movements, as well as his well-timed poke checks and lifts, make Hudson a menacing perimeter on-ball presence. Once Hudson has caused a turnover, he will scoop up the GB, push the transition game, or locate an open teammate and deliver a precise clearing pass. Hudson’s impressive lacrosse instincts enable him to quickly decide which option is best on a given play. Down low, Hudson can shut down dodges from the wing or X via powerful stick checks or with his physicality. Hudson has an effective habit of getting into ball carriers early in their dodge and throwing them off balance. Hudson is a plus player as a team defender, too.
