Below are a few news and notes regarding lacrosse prospects from Pennsylvania.    During his standout junior campaign, Benner posted 54 goals to go along with 35 assists as he helped lead D-West to the Ches-Mont League title. It was the second straight season in which this high skilled, left-handed attack has registered 60 or more points. So, it should not come as a surprise that Benner recently committed to D3 power Lynchburg College. Benner thrives in the lefty attack spot. His field awareness and high IQ produce well timed off-ball movements that create easy catch and finish opportunities in close. His ability to work the high crease area for scoring chances is impressive too. The swift release and precise aim on Benner's shot makes him a serious catch and rip threat from GLE as well as the wing. This speedy attack with elusive change of direction moves can also initiate from anywhere on the field. Benner's is especially dangerous from X where his ability to string together several cuts and spin moves allows him to cook his initial defender and then dash around the corner for goals around the crease. Additionally, Benner can deliver timely feeds from behind the cage.     This solidly built and rangy defensive prospect recently announced that he would be departing Council Rock North and transferring to Penn Charter. That move by Dinneen will add a versatile pole who creates a slew of turnovers to the Quakers lineup. Dinneen can cause turnovers with his physicality or via his active stick. This rising sophomore does a fantastic job of staying glued to ball carriers and applying constant pressure on their hands. Dinneen's quick feet and anticipation skills enable him to beat a ball carrier to a spot and turn him multiple times. In short, Dinneen specializes in wearing out offensive players until they make a mistake. As a bonus to his defensive skills, Dinneen is a ground ball machine with excellent scoop and go skills. Those assets make Dinneen an especially effective face off wing too. The PC coaching staff will be impressed with Dinneen's smart decision making on the fast break.     Jakuc assembled a monster junior season in which he faced a national schedule and out-dueled several of the top FOGOs in the country. For an encore, Jakuc torched opponents on the 2026 summer circuit and finished with a 68% win rate. Thus, it should not be a surprise that Jakuc recently committed to NESCAC contender Bates College. Jakuc's clean pick-n-pops skills combined with his incredible separation speed allow him to secure possession and then explode away from the face off area. Once he gets downhill, Jakuc can charge through contact and elude sliding defenders until he gets deep into the offensive end. His highly polished stick skills make Jakuc a threat to score or distribute while running full speed. Jakuc has also demonstrated that he can muck it up at the dot and win possession by overpowering or out hustling his opponent. The coaching staff at bates will love how Jakuc keeps his opponents off balance by mixing up his exit strategies.     McCracken is a quick twitch athlete with a deep bag of stick maneuvers and filthy shooting skills who earlier this week flipped his commitment from Brown to Ivy League rival Penn. With that move the Quakers' coaching staff has improved their 2027 recruiting class significantly. McCracken's ability to blow past, shake or dip underneath his initial defender is remarkable. Once McCracken has found open space, he can slam on the brakes and rip shots from multiple angles. Or McCracken can continue his charge to the net and finish around the crease. McCracken's agility and extraordinary stick skills enable him to convert on finishes with a high degree of difficulty. With his swift release and precise placement, McCracken is an incredible catch and crank threat from GLE or the wing. This past spring McCracken was a 1st Team All-Inter-Ac selection and helped lead nationally ranked Malvern Prep to the 2026 PAISAA state title.       This summer, Proctor saw his recruiting stock skyrocket after he posted outstanding performances at marquee events such as NHSLS, NAL, Alliance League Summer Championship, Philly Showdown, and the One Percent Showcase (All-Star selection). Across those summer circuit tournaments proctor won face offs at a 72% clip. Proctor capped off his incredible summer 2026 circuit by being named MVP of the True 12 Showcase. Proctor is an extraordinarily athletic and agile face off specialists with next level separation speed. Combine those assets with Proctor's elite pick-n-pop skills and you get a FOGO who allows his team to play downhill all day. In transition, Proctor's polished, two-handed stick skills enable him to shoot or distribute while running full speed. When things get chaotic at the dot, Proctor's physicality, aggressive stick, and positioning skills enable him to secure possession in a crowd. Proctor timely use of defensive exits is impressive too. We expect that Proctor will be a popular prospect on September 9th.     In late July, Slachta earned the MVP award of the Command Division (2029) at the New Balance All-America event and proved once again that the Haverford School's defense will be rock solid for years to come. Slachta is an athletic and rangy pole with a non-stop motor and an aggressive style. He excels at pressing out on ball carriers and thus disrupting the opposing team's offense. Slachta also does a fantastic job of arriving early to his man and dictating play with his physicality. This highly skilled pole can cause turnovers with powerful stick checks or crafty pokes, lifts and can openers. Slachta has a knack for finding the butt end of an opponent's stick with a slap too. Once the ball hits the turf, Slachta will pounce on the GB and then push the transition game. In transition Slachta is a threat to score or deliver a smart assist.
