One item that really pops about Farrell’s skill set is his ability uncork absolute missiles from up top as well as the wing. Farrell’s velocity and precise aim makes his perimeter shots impossible to stop. He is also a master at firing long range bouncers past opposing goalies. Farrell’s high IQ off-ball cuts and drifts enable him to find the time and space for these cranks. This summer Farrell proved he could come out of the box, receive an outlet pass, get downhill in a flash, and then score or distribute while running full speed. Plus, he flashed the ability to play SSDM. At the defensive end of the field, Farrell’s speed made him a plus player in the clearing game. During his impressive sophomore campaign for Haddonfield, Farrell netted 22 goals and was a 1^st Team All-Olympic Conference selection.
