Alex Connelly Alex Connelly Alex Connelly 5'6" | 130 lbs | FO/M | Right Hand Palo Verde | 2027 NV , a state champion, had a phenomenal year for the Panthers. His gritty play at the X helped them play “make it, take it” at times, and he was constantly battling for ground balls whenever he didn’t win the clamp. Beyond his work at the faceoff stripe, he makes the right reads with the ball and knows when to move it at the right time. With his athleticism and scrappiness, he could be a player who turns heads this summer. He is also set to compete in the Nevada High School Lacrosse All-Star Game.

He was winning the clamp often, and did a fantastic job of securing the rock and running to space post face off. His dominance at the X gave the Panthers a noticeable leg up. As they possessed the ball a lot more than the Miners. Which allowed them to control the game and keep Manogue on their heels.

He won a ton of the faceoffs, which helped the Panthers control the tempo and possess the ball. It was a huge factor in them building out their lead. And beyond his stats, he was competing with intensity until the last whistle.
