State champion Jace Mims Jace Mims Jace Mims 5'10" | 145 lbs | D | Right Hand Palo Verde | 2027 NV was named to the First Team, and I have to imagine that he was a fairly easy selection. He played with a scrappy and competitive edge all season long for the Panthers. He is quite athletic and uses his feel for the game to lock down his matchup defensively. He was also valuable in transition and during clears, and overall, his impact on the team was significant.

Jace Mims Jace Mims Jace Mims 5'10" | 145 lbs | D | Right Hand Palo Verde | 2027 NV was a difference maker for the Panthers on defense throughout the contest. He was dealing out very swift stick checks, dislodging the ball and causing turnovers. And the Miners offensive players had a very tough time gaining ground on their dodges against him. He also ran out missed shots, and made himself available during clears. His hard nose play was fun to watch, and I like how much pride he takes in defending.
