The first thing that pops about Shim’s game is his extraordinarily aggressive style of play. Whether he is hounding a ball carrier, chasing down a GB or executing a double team, Shim relentlessly attacks every play. Yet, because of his high IQ, Shim is never out of control or position. Shim’s speed, polished footwork, and active stick enable him to be a disruptive force all over the field. He causes turnovers via stick checks, slaps, lifts, pokes, can opener, and yard sales. College coaches will love Shim’s elite groundball skills. He is especially adept at scooping up a GB and then sprinting into the offensive end to create a scoring opportunity. Shim’s slides as well as double teams are always on point and often come with a physical edge. The upside of this versatile 2028 pole is ridiculous.
