Charles is an athletic midfielder with a quick first step. This past weekend Charles showed he is comfortable initiating from anywhere on the field. Once he got downhill, Charles ran through stick checks and eluded slides until he found space for a crank on the run. Charles also demonstrated that he could dodge down the alley or sweep across a defense, stop on a dime, then roll-back and fire on net. When he was off the ball, Charles used timely cuts, drifts, and pops to create high percentage looks. As a bonus to his offensive skills, Charles sprinted back on several occasions and held his own at SSDM.
