This past weekend, McGarigle committed to Bryant, and that decision means the Bulldogs have landed a talented prospect with incredible upside. In spring 2026, McGarigle was a solid rotational piece for a St. Augustine team that won sixteen games and advanced to the NJSIAA state tournament semifinals. Then on the summer 2026 circuit, McGarigle posted his breakout stretch of play. This lefty assembled outstanding performances at marquee summer events such as NAL and the A.L.L. Summer Championships. For an encore, McGarigle pushed Team Philly to the Burn Division title at the New Balance All-America event and was named to the All-Tournament team. McGarigle is a multi-skilled offensive prospect who can operate at attack or midfield. At attack, McGarigle can work the low lefty spot or high crease area for catch-and-finish goals. Additionally, McGarigle has flashed the ability to dodge or feed from X as a midfielder. McGarigle’s explosive first step combined with his slick change of direction moves allows him to dodge from the wing or up top, find open space, and then fire on the run. The Bryant coaching staff will love McGarigle’s two-handed skill set.

McGarigle capped off an incredible, stock-rising summer by being named to the all-tournament team at the New Balance All-America event. This left-handed prospect with elusive stick maneuvers and filthy shooting skills thrives in the low, lefty attack spot. His ability to receive a pass at GLE and then swiftly fire a shot into the net is impressive. McGarigle can also pull in a feed and then make a quick move that allows him to slip between defenders for a scoring chance around the crease. His deep bag of fakes and creative finishes make McGarigle impossible to stop in-close. McGarigle also possesses a quick burst and elusive change of direction moves. That combination allows McGarigle to dodge from the wing or up top, find open space, and then fire on the run. McGarigle has flashed the ability to initiate from X too. This versatile 2028 is a patient dodger who will wait for high-percentage opportunities to develop for himself or teammates. College coaches will love McGarigle’s ability to shoot/feed with both hands.

McGarigle was probably the most dangerous offensive weapon for New Jersey at the NB All-America event. He is a lefty who does most of his damage coming from behind the cage in settled sets. He has the splits, rolls, and swims to shake his defender and get up the lefty hash for shots, and he has the vision to feed when slides come. One of the best plays I saw on the day was his speedy S-dodge that ended with a jumping fake and finish against Midwest. In that half, he added two more goals and an assist. Those two goals showed the rest of his game well: one came on a quick cradle-and-shoot from the extra-man unit with his smooth release, and the other came on a quick-stick finish in transition.
