Expert Analysis
Eric Bretz | Prep Lacrosse Scout
Scibilia is a crafty two-way playmaker for the Hermits with a good mix of dodges at his disposal, coupled with a quick first step to create space. He’s a tough assignment for defenders due to his ability to be productive with either hand and his quick and powerful shooting motion. He works hard as a facilitator, using his vision and stick skills to find open teammates out of his dodges and plays smart with and without the ball. While he only recorded an assist as a freshman, his production, versatility, and development with South Shore have made him a name to know in this 2029 class. Scibilia can also positively affect the game off-ball, displaying good spacing and finding skip lanes to set up a time-and-room shot or a quick cut. Once he mixes up his shot locations and changes planes on opposing goaltenders, the Hammonton native could be in line to earn a larger role for the Hermits, though he got plenty of time on the defensive end as a freshman.
