Right now, highly ranked Class of 2028 prospects are preparing to receive phone calls and texts from college coaches early Wednesday morning.

I expect decorated 2028 prospects from Pennsylvania, such as midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='129788' first='Chase' last='Aquino'] and defenseman [player_tooltip player_id='121345' first='Max' last='Delvescovo'], will be flooded with calls and texts tomorrow morning.

But Pennsylvania's Class of 2028 is extraordinarily deep. Therefore, I anticipate that college coaches will be reaching out to a slew of players outside that first group of prospects on September 9th.

So today, I want to highlight five Class of 2028 prospects from the Pennsylvania who I believe will be sneaky popular with college coaches on the opening day of the contact period for 2028s.

Bryan is an exceptionally talented attackman who last spring poured in 45 goals and dished out 23 assists. The trifecta of Bryan's noteworthy size, quick burst, and filthy stick skills makes him extremely difficult to defend 1v1. Bryan's ability to shake his defender and then dash towards the net puts constant pressure on opposing defenses. Once Bryan finds open space, he will smartly decide whether to rip a shot or draw the slide and then move the ball to an open teammate. Bryan can also execute a cutback, spin move, or elusive stick maneuver to avoid the slide defender and then charge to the cage for a dunk. Additionally, this high-IQ offensive prospect is a master at using timely off-ball cuts, drifts, and sweeps to create high-percentage scoring chances. College coaches should love Bryan's perimeter shooting skills too. His swift release, power, and accuracy make Bryan a legitimate catch-and-fire threat from anywhere on the field.

With his imposing size, fast hands, and fantastic agility, Corrado can make all the saves in the book. He proved this during the 2026 high school season when Corrado registered an incredible save percentage of 67%. Two additional assets that pop for Corrado are his poise and high IQ. On close-range scoring chances or a possession where he faces a hailstorm of shots, Corrado always maintains his composure and will then rely on his fundamentals as well as his quick reflexes to keep the ball out of the net. This lefty's ability to scramble back to his feet after dropping to the ground and then get into position for a save is impressive. Once Corrado has the ball in his stick, he will smartly and swiftly deliver a precise outlet pass to an open teammate. Corrado's high IQ is also on display during his clear and consistent communication with the defensive unit in front of him. Additionally, Corrado has flashed the athleticism and speed needed to clear the ball with his legs.

Fetsco is a speedy midfield/attack prospect with a well-rounded skill set who can generate scoring chances for himself or teammates from anywhere in the offensive end. Fetsco's explosive first step and ability to dodge to his left or his right make him impossible to defend 1v1. He can also cook an initial defender with a smooth hitch-and-go move. Once Fetsco has separated from his defender and dashed into open space, he is a threat to score or distribute with both hands. Fetsco's ability to get downhill from up top, draw a slide, and then drop a dime to the back post is remarkable. His field vision and poise make Fetsco an excellent feeder from X too. From the wing as well as GLE, Fetsco can rip sidearms into the net. Or Fetsco can execute a shot fake, then dip underneath his defender and charge to the net for an overhand dunk. The scary part is, Fetsco has ridiculous upside.

The 2026 high school season served as Fletcher's breakout stretch of play, where he established himself as an athletic and highly skilled two-way midfielder. Fletcher's impressive play at both ends of the field helped this past spring push MT to the 2026 District 3-3A title as well as the 3A state tournament semifinals. Fletcher then assembled a string of fantastic performances on the summer circuit that cemented his reputation. This elite two-way prospect excels at picking up GBs in the defensive end or on face-offs and then sprinting upfield to create an unsettled scoring chance. Fletcher's nifty cuts and refined stick skills make him a threat to carry the ball deep into the offensive end and score or feed on the move. College coaches will love Fletcher's ability to fire absolute missiles into the net while on the run. On defense, the combination of Fletcher's smooth lateral footwork, active stick, grit, and physicality makes him a menacing on-ball presence. Lastly, Fletcher is a high-IQ short stick whose hedges, double teams, and recoveries are always on point.

This athletic and fleet-footed lefty with noteworthy size is an absolute sniper. Whether he is executing catch-and-fire shots or cranks on the run, the power and precise placement on Hogan's shots are incredible. Those assets, combined with his quick release, leave opposing goalies with no chance of making a save. Hogan's well-timed off-ball movements produce a great deal of these scoring chances. He is especially effective when coming off screen action and popping out to open space on the wing or up top. Once Hogan has established the perimeter shot, he will use a hitch move to get his defender off-balance and then dash to the net for a scoring chance at close range. Hogan's speed and elusive moves enable him to initiate from the wing, cut back, and then dip underneath his defender for a goal around the crease.
