Earlier today, one of the most underrated 2028 prospects in Pennsylvania came off the board as Fletcher committed to Cornell. During the 2026 season, Fletcher was an extremely talented two-way midfielder who helped push MT to a District 3-3A title. Thanks to his agility, active stick, and non-stop motor, Fletcher is a suffocating on-ball presence on the defensive end. Fletcher’s ability to cause turnovers with physical crowbars is impressive. His elite ground ball skills and speed make Fletcher a scoop-and-go demon. Once Fletcher is out in transition, his shifty moves and polished stick skills enable him to get below the restraining line and then shoot or distribute on the run. Additionally, Fletcher is a fantastic team defender who smartly executes hedges, double teams, and recoveries. With his active stick, nose for the ball, and positioning skills, Fletcher is a major plus player on the face-off wing too.

The 2026 high school season served as Fletcher’s breakout stretch of play, where he established himself as an athletic and highly skilled two-way midfielder. Fletcher’s impressive play at both ends of the field helped this past spring push MT to the 2026 District 3-3A title as well as the 3A state tournament semifinals. Fletcher then assembled a string of fantastic performances on the summer circuit that cemented his reputation. This elite two-way prospect excels at picking up GBs in the defensive end or on face-offs and then sprinting upfield to create an unsettled scoring chance. Fletcher’s nifty cuts and refined stick skills make him a threat to carry the ball deep into the offensive end and score or feed on the move. College coaches will love Fletcher’s ability to fire absolute missiles into the net while on the run. On defense, the combination of Fletcher’s smooth lateral footwork, active stick, grit, and physicality makes him a menacing on-ball presence. Lastly, Fletcher is a high-IQ short stick whose hedges, double teams, and recoveries are always on point.
