Today I want to shine a spotlight on five exceptionally talented prospects from the Delaware Valley who are slotted outside the Top 100 national rankings but recently gave their verbal commitment to a DI school.   The following prospect commitments intrigued me because I believe the players profiled below were hidden gems. Thus, the DI programs that were fortunate enough to land the players below have quietly added recruits that should have a positive impact on their programs soon after they hit campus.    Earlier today, one of the most underrated 2028 prospects in Pennsylvania came off the board as Fletcher committed to Cornell. During the 2026 season, Fletcher was an extremely talented two-way midfielder who helped push MT to a District 3-3A title. Thanks to his agility, active stick, and non-stop motor, Fletcher is a suffocating on-ball presence on the defensive end. Fletcher's ability to cause turnovers with physical crowbars is impressive. His elite ground ball skills and speed make Fletcher a scoop-and-go demon. Once Fletcher is out in transition, his shifty moves and polished stick skills enable him to get below the restraining line and then shoot or distribute on the run. Additionally, Fletcher is a fantastic team defender who smartly executes hedges, double teams, and recoveries. With his active stick, nose for the ball, and positioning skills, Fletcher is a major plus player on the face-off wing too.     Stashed away on a deep Lawrenceville roster is this lefty, brick wall of a goalie who just committed to Holy Cross. This past summer was Gorman's breakout stretch of play. In June and July, Gorman posted an incredible string of games between the pipes as he helped push Leading Edge to No. 1 in the 2028 club rankings. Gorman is a long goalie with fast hands and impressive reach. That trifecta of assets enables Gorman to cleanly snare shot attempts aimed at the top of the cage. Gorman's well-built frame and agility make it difficult to score on him with bouncers and low burners too. The coaching staff at Holy Cross will be impressed with how quickly Gorman recovers from his drop saves and then gets back into position for any rebound attempts. Gorman owns noteworthy athleticism and an aggressive style, so he will not hesitate to come out of his crease to intercept a pass or pounce on a loose ball. This 2028 goalie also delivers precise and smartly placed clearing passes.     On Wednesday, Horvath announced that he would be taking his talents to the Jersey Shore for college, as he committed to Monmouth. That decision means the Hawks have landed an elite, homegrown face-off specialist. Horvath's blend of versatility, physicality, and elite skills has made him one of the most dominant face-off specialists in the Garden State. With his quick reaction times and textbook mechanics, Horvath can execute clean pick-n-pops and then sprint away from the face-off area. His separation speed and shifty moves enable Horvath to carry the ball deep into the offensive end. Once there, Horvath's polished stick skills make him a threat to score or distribute. Horvath's long wingspan keeps the ball beyond the reach of his opponents during these charges to the net. With his solidly built frame and positioning skills, Horvath can also overpower opponents and grind out wins at the dot. Horvath's ability to spin and then box out an opponent until he has secured possession is remarkable.     Ostrowski posted a monster summer 2026, as he turned heads at marquee events such as the ML8 High School Summer Championships, NHSLS, and Naptown. Those impressive performances caught more than just our attention as Ostrowski recently committed to Boston University. Head Coach Ryan Polley and his staff have landed an athletic and speedy midfielder with an extraordinarily powerful shot. Whether he is on the move or in a catch-and-fire scenario, Ostrowski is known for uncorking absolute missiles into the net. His shot placement skills are a nice complement to his power. Ostrowski's quick first step and shifty moves enable him to initiate from anywhere in the offensive end. When he is not ripping shots on net, Ostrowski uses his field vision and feathery touch to distribute to open teammates while on the move. His poise and ability to absorb significant contact while he waits for a teammate to come open is impressive. Ostrowski's willingness to carry the ball to X and quarterback the offense from there will be a nice bonus for the BU program.     One of the breakout stars of the 2026 high school season in Pennsylvania has committed to Monmouth. This past spring, Titus was thrust into the starting goalie role for EA because of an injury. He responded with impressive performances in an upset of then No. 1-ranked Lawrenceville as well as against St. Anthony's and Brunswick. At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Titus is an imposing presence in net. Combine that size with his fast hands and tracking skills, and you get a goalie who is extremely difficult to score on from long range. Titus also possesses excellent agility, which produces quick but controlled drops that enable him to stop low shots, too. The Monmouth coaching staff will love that Titus is willing to use any part of his body to make a save. He is especially adept at using kick saves to deny low scoring chances. Titus has also impressed with the way he clearly communicates with his defensive unit.
