Pennsylvania 2028s Who Could Come Off The Board Next

Over the first ten days of the contact period for the Class of 2028, highly regarded juniors from Pennsylvania have been flying off the board.   Prospects such as midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='135013' first='Trent' last='Tremblay'] (Cornell), face-off specialist [player_tooltip player_id='141686' first='Mason' last='Proctor'] (Syracuse), LSM [player_tooltip player_id='168128' first='Maddox' last='Green'] (UPenn), midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='129788' first='Chase' last='Aquino'] (Penn State) and midfielder [player_tooltip player_id='175530' first='Mason' last='Ellis'] (St. Joe's) come to mind immediately.   Additionally, any minute now we are expecting announcements from top-ranked Pennsylvania prospects like defenseman [player_tooltip player_id='121345' first='Max' last='Delvescovo'] and versatile pole [player_tooltip player_id='167971' first='Connor' last='Song'].   So today, I want to profile five prospects from the Keystone State who I believe will be part of the next wave of commitments from Pennsylvania 2028s.       Curry has the high IQ and skills needed to play at the DI level. Plus, Curry has significant big-game experience. Before he transferred to Haverford School this summer, Curry was a two-year starter for a Radnor program that assembled back-to-back 20+ win seasons as well as back-to-back appearances in the 3A state championship game. The combination of Curry's positioning skills and fast hands enables him to make clean saves on shots from long-range. His poise, agility and quick reflexes allow Curry to turn away scoring chances around the crease too. Curry's swift but controlled drops keep low shots out of the net. His non-stop motor and scrambling ability help Curry pounce on rebounds and win chases. Once the ball is in his possession, Curry delivers smart and precise clearing passes. In short, Curry is the complete package between the pipes. After his sophomore campaign at Radnor, Curry was named a 1st Team All-State selection.     Fletcher posted an epic sophomore season during which he scored 61 goals, handed out 25 assists, and scooped up 50 ground balls as he pushed MT to the District 3 3A title. After his incredible 2026 season, Fletcher garnered 1st Team All Lancaster-Lebanon League honors. Then on the summer circuit, Fletcher destroyed opposing defenses with his athleticism, speed, and change of direction moves. In 6v6 action, Fletcher excels at getting downhill, blowing past his defender, and then ripping a shot on the move. His ability to dodge going left or right makes Fletcher extremely difficult to defend 1v1. Fletcher's ability to run through contact combined with his slick stick maneuvers allows him to carry the rock all the way to the cage for a dunk. His powerful and accurate outside shot must also be respected. Fletcher is a legitimate transition scoring threat too. With his solid build, smooth lateral footwork, and ground ball skills, Fletcher can drop back and operate at SSDM for a stretch.     Kupper is an electric offensive prospect who last spring posted 56 goals to go along with 36 dimes and was a 1st team All-Berks Conference selection. Kupper can generate scoring chances for himself or teammates from anywhere in the offensive end, but last spring what really grabbed our attention was his ability to convert turnovers and broken plays into goals. His speed, ground ball skills and relentlessly attacking style were major factors in creating those unsettled scoring plays. In 6v6 action, the trifecta of Kupper's explosive first step, elusive cuts and polished stick skills helps him navigate his way through opposing defenses for goals around the crease. Kupper is also a tremendous catch-and-shoot shooter from GLE as well as the wing. Once Kupper has established that shot threat, he will haul in a pass, drop a hitch move, and then slip underneath his defender for a run to the net. Kupper's high IQ and field vision produce creative assists.     O'Kane is a downhill-style midfielder with speed, shifty moves, and polished finishing skills. This sophomore specializes in cooking his defender, weaving his way through slides, and then depositing the ball in the net from close range. O'Kane's deep bag of cuts, spins, and rollbacks is impressive. He can also blow past his defender and then find open space for a 15-to-18-yard crank on the run too. O'Kane is comfortable initiating from anywhere on the field, but this junior will catch opponents by surprise with how effectively he can quarterback an offense from X. From behind the net, O'Kane is a threat to dash around the corner, execute an inside roll, and then dunk it home. Or O'Kane can patiently wait for a cutter to come open and then feed that teammate for a goal. College coaches will love the poise O'Kane has displayed under extreme defensive pressure.     Warrick is a gifted left-handed attackman who last spring torched opposing defenses for 24 goals and 38 assists. Those impressive stats earned Warrick 1st Team All-Catholic League honors. With his elite shooting skills and ability to operate in tight spaces, Warrick excels in the low lefty spot. He can receive a pass and then use his swift release and precise aim to fire a shot into the net. Or Warrick can pull in a pass and then make a nifty move where he slips between defenders for a dunk around the crease. Warrick owns enough speed and shake that he can initiate from anywhere on the field and generate scoring chances for himself or teammates. His ability to get downhill, then stop on a dime and roll back to his left hand is remarkable. When he dodges, Warrick does a fantastic job of keeping his head up and then delivering creative dimes to teammates. Warrick's high IQ off-ball movements frequently produce clean looks around the net.
