Below is a review of five Class of 2028 prospects from the Delaware Valley who committed to a DI college program during the opening week of the contact period for juniors.

Lockwood is a highly skilled Canadian midfield prospect who committed to Ohio State over the weekend. The No. 74 prospect in our Class of 2028 rankings is a fleet-footed lefty with noteworthy size, serious shake, and filthy stick skills. Lockwood is a master at getting downhill from up top, separating from his defender, and then firing sidearm missiles into the net. This junior also does a fantastic job of receiving a pass on the wing, executing a hitch move, and then sweeping across the top of the defense until he finds space for a rip. On these charges to the net, Lockwood keeps his head up, and if the slide comes too early, he drops a dime to the open teammate. Lockwood has also demonstrated that he can elude the slide defender with a crafty stick maneuver and then dash to the net for a goal in close. Additionally, Lockwood can operate in the low lefty spot and produce goals via catch and fire opportunities.

Olender is a long and agile multi-sport athlete who is a standout football player, too. On the lacrosse field, Olender is a highly skilled midfield prospect who just committed tothe University of Pennsylvania. During his injury-shortened 2026 season, Olender scored 17 goals in just nine games. Included in those seventeen goals was an impressive hat trick Olender posted against Loyola Blakefield (MD). With his long strides, shifty moves, and polished stick skills, Olender thrives in unsettled action. Whether he is pushing a coast-to-coast transition chance or coming out of the box and then charging downfield, Olender is a serious threat to score or distribute on the run. In 6v6 action, Olender is a sniper on the perimeter, His quick release and precise aim make it impossible for goalies to stop his long-range cranks. The Penn coaching staff will love Olender's ability to operate in two-man action.

One of the top poles in the region is off the board, as this past Saturday, Panagopoulos committed to Yale. That announcement by Panagopoulos means that the Bulldogs coaching staff has landed a disruptive defensive force for their 2028 class. Panagopoulos is an athletic, fast, and rangy LSM / close defender with an extremely aggressive style. Panagopoulos has mastered the art of arriving early to ball carriers and then dictating play with powerful stick checks or his physicality. He can also pursue ball carriers on the perimeter for extended stretches and then create turnovers via slaps, lifts, overheads, pokes, and can openers. Once the ball hits the turf, Panagopoulos will vacuum up the GB and then jump start a fast break chance with his speed. His polished stick skills enable Panagopoulos to push the ball deep into the offensive end for a goal or an assist. Panagopoulos is a high IQ pole with an extraordinary feel for when to come off his man and deliver a trail check that causes the ball carrier to cough up the rock.

This past summer, Proctor increased his recruiting stock significantly by posting extraordinary efforts at high-profile events such as NHSLS, NAL, Alliance League Summer Championship, Philly Showdown, and the One Percent Showcase, where he was an All-Star selection. Additionally, Proctor was selected as the MVP of the True 12 Showcase. Given his epic summer, it should not be a surprise that Proctor committed to Syracuse. Proctor is a pick-n-pop demon. Once he has possession, Proctor will then use his elite separation speed to trigger a transition scoring chance. His refined stick skills allow Proctor to score or distribute while running full speed. Proctor's solid frame, footwork, and physicality enable him to grind out wins too. The combination of Proctor's agility and aggressive stick makes him a ground ball machine.

This 6-foot-4, 200-pound lefty is off the board after Tremblay gave his verbal commitment to Cornell on Friday. During the 2026 high school season and then the ensuing summer circuit, Tremblay torched opposing defenses with his speed, ability to run through contact and elite shooting skills. Tremblay's long strides allow him to get downhill in a flash and cook the initial defender. He can then elude the slide defender with a quick cut or run over that pole in his way. Once he finds open space, Tremblay can unleash powerful shots with his right or left hand while on the move. Tremblay can also crank step-downs from up top or the wing. With his height and field vision, Tremblay is a fantastic distributor from up top or the wing. Tremblay has flashed the ability to hustle back and play SSDM for a stretch, too.
