That trend continued during the summer circuit as Bloss impacted every facet of the game. Bloss was a dominating player on the face off wing where he used his speed, positioning skills and active stick to secure ground balls and then push transition chances. On defense, Bloss was a menacing on-ball presence at both LSM and close defense. Bloss proved to be a master at checking the bottom end of an opponent's stick to create a turnover. He also exceled at using trail checks and can openers to put the ball on the ground. For a rising sophomore, Bloss is extremely poised and fundamentally sound. Those assets combined with his quick lateral movements enabled Bloss to play suffocating defense against 1v1 isolation action.

Kent is an athletic net minder with remarkable agility, fast hands, and a high IQ. Last week at the New Balance AA event, those assets helped Kent make a slew eye popping clean saves. His ability to slide post to post or execute swift drops to make saves was on full display. Additionally, Kent threw his body in front of a host of shots to make saves. His patience and refusal to bite on fakes enabled Kent to stone shooters around the crease. Kent also used his non-stop motor to pounce on loose balls and win a few chases. Once Kent had the ball in his stick, he displayed tremendous composure as well as precise distribution skills. College coaches will love the way Kent kept his defensive unit connected through constant communication.

In recent weeks, this athletic and solidly built lefty with filthy stick skills has proved to be a matchup nightmare for opponents. In 6v6 action, Primanti repeatedly used his quick burst to cook his initial defender and then create scoring chances for himself as well as teammates. Primanti was especially effective at blowing past his defender and then finding open space for a 12-to-15-yard rip. This 2029 prospect also demonstrated that he owns a powerful and highly accurate step-down shot. Primanti's speed and ability to run through contact allowed him to thrive in transition too. On the summer circuit, Primanti showed that he could go coast-to-coast and then score or distribute on the run. Lastly, Primanti played with an energy and swagger that was contagious.

Webb is an extraordinarily versatile defensive prospect who has showcased the ability to play SSDM as well as close defense and LSM. Regardless of the position he operated from, this summer Webb had an impact at both ends of the field. On defense Webb pressed out on ball carriers an disrupted the flow of opposing offenses. He doggedly pursued ball carriers for long stretches and then caused turnovers with stick checks, lifts, and pokes. He also did a stellar job of intercepting passes and was a ground ball machine too. Webb' speed and shifty moves enabled him to take those turnovers / GBs and generate fast break chances for his team. Once Webb streaked into the offensive end, he used his refined stick skills to shoot or distribute at full speed. But Webb also showed that he valued possession by smartly moving the ball early to an open teammate rather than force the transition game.

This past spring, Yates scored 23 goals and dished out 28 assists as he helped Shady Side capture the WPIAL title and advance to the 3A state tournament quarterfinals. More recently, this lefty attack prospect tortured opponents on the summer club scene with his ability to score from the wing, around the crease and at X. On the wing, Yates used his swift release and power to cash in on catch and fire opportunities. His timely cuts, sweeps and drifts produced scoring chances around the top of the crease as well as at GLE. From X, Yates shook his initial defender with elusive change of direction moves and then turned the corner for scoring chances in close. On other dodges from X, Yates used his solid frame to bully his defender until he got to his spots for a shot. In July, Yates demonstrated that he could run at midfield too.
