Below is a review of available 2027s from Pennsylvania who played outstanding lacrosse in recent weeks.

In fact, we were so impressed with the performances of the following prospects, that if we were running a college lacrosse program, each of them would receive an offer today.

Malvern Prep is a program with a well-documented history of producing high-level shortstick defensive midfield prospects. This long, gritty and fleet-footed SSDM with polished stick skills is the next chapter in that tradition. Ceppetelli is a menacing on ball defender who caused turnovers with slap checks and lifts as well as the occasional crowbar. After the ball hit the ground, Ceppetelli used his active stick and physicality to vacuum up the ground ball. Next, Ceppetelli's speed and elusive stick maneuvers got him out in transition and enabled him to push the ball deep into the offensive end. College coaches should love the athleticism and poise Ceppetelli displayed when he operated against 1v1 isolation action. Ceppetelli also demonstrated a high IQ and solid field awareness on his hedges, switches, and recoveries.

This summer at events such as Lehigh Laxfest and NXT Meltdown, Goering proved to be an athletic and high IQ offensive prospects with a multi-dimensional set. Goering operated from all three attack positions and created for himself as well as teammates. His ability to initiate going to left or right and then score / distribute with both hands made Goering extremely difficult to defend 1v1. When he was double teamed, Goering was quick to recognize the open man and then swiftly move the ball. Goering also proved to be a serious catch and fire threat. His quick release combined with his shot placement left opposing goalies helpless. Goering's crafty cuts, dives and sweeps helped produce many of those catch and shoot opportunities as well as a few easy dunks. With his relentless motor and field awareness, Goering was a major plus player on the ride, too. He frequently created turnovers that led to extra possessions for his team.

During the 2026 high school season, Jakuc went mono-y-mono against a number of the best FOGOs in the country and more than held his own. That trend continued this summer as Jakuc dominated opponents with his clean pick-n-pop skills. Those wins combined with Jakuc's incredible speed enabled him to explode into the offensive end to create scoring chances for Brotherly Love. His ability to absorb significant contact on those runs and maintain possession was remarkable. Once Jakuc got below the restraining line, his refined stick skills made him a threat to fire a shot into the net. The combination of Jakuc's high IQ and field vision produced a slew of Instagram-worthy assists, too. But Jakuc is not a one trick face-off specialist. This summer, Jakuc also proved he could win at the dot by varying his exit strategies as well as by dropping to the turf and grinding out a win.

Shanahan is a 6-foot-4 and 210-pound pole who owns impressive athleticism and agility. That trifecta of assets made Shanahan a defensive force on the summer circuit. During June and July, Shanahan displayed the ability to play with finesse or a physical edge. His speed and nimble feet allowed Shanahan to pursue ball carriers all over the field and then cause turnovers with his deep bag of stick checks. College coaches will love his ability to get into ball carriers early in their dodge and stop them cold. Shanahan also demonstrated that he could put the ball on the ground via powerful shoulder checks. When the ball hit the turf, Shanahan was quick to pounce on the ground ball and secure possession. Once the ball was in his stick, Shanahan proved that he could push the ball in transition or smartly roll back into open space and then drop the ball off to a teammate. Lastly, Shanahan showed that he is a savvy team defender whose slides, switches, hedges, and recoveries were always on point.

Shervin assembled an incredible junior campaign during which he posted 14 wins and helped push Upper Dublin to the District 1-2A championship game as well as the PIAA 2A state tournament quarterfinals. For an encore, the long and athletic Shervin continued to stand tall between the pipes on the summer circuit. His fast hands and tracking skills combined with the way Shervin pops off his line made it difficult for perimeter shooters to score on him. Shervin's patience and quick reactions enabled him to stone close range shooters, too. This rising senior's willingness to throw any part of his body in the line of fire also helped him turn away scoring chances around the crease. Shervin's non-stop motor and surprising speed enabled him to pounce on loose balls and win chases. His swift and accurate clearing passes frequently triggered fast breaks chances for his team.
