Cassata recently committed to Boston University. That means the Terriers staff added a fleet-footed, lefty midfielder with a solid frame and a well-rounded skill set to BU's 2026 recruiting class. Head coach Ryan Polley and company will love Cassata's ability to crank shots into the net while on the run. Cassata excels at dipping underneath the initial defender and then charging to the cage for a scoring chance. The coaches at BU will also love his catch-and-fire scoring skills. Cassata's smart and timely off-ball movements are responsible for the majority of those catch-and-shoot opportunities. When he is not scoring, Cassata's field vision combined with his passing skills enable him to find and feed cutters. This past spring at Holderness, Cassata recorded 65 points and was a Lake Region All-Star selection.

Goldman is widely regarded as one of the top face-off prospects on the West Coast. During his stellar junior campaign, Goldman won faceoffs at an 83% clip and secured 250 groundballs. Goldman's astonishing success at the dot was a major reason Loyola won the CIF Championship and was ranked as the No. 1 team in the West. Goldman's fast hands and textbook technique produce clean pick-n-pops all day. His explosive speed enables Goldman to swiftly push deep into the offensive for a goal or an assist. When things get chaotic at the dot, Goldman's sturdy foundation and polished footwork enable him to hold off his opponent until he can vacuum up the ball. With his non-stop motor and aggressive stick, Goldman can also track down ground balls and then emerge from a crowd with possession. Last week, Goldman gave his verbal commitment to Brown University.

Earlier this week, Rice flipped his commitment from Mercer to Ohio State. With that move, the Buckeyes landed an offensive prospect with impressive size, a high IQ, and a multi-dimensional skill set. Rice is a smooth scoring machine with shifty moves, a deep bag of stick maneuvers, and elite shooting/finishing skills. Combine those assets with his ability to explode past a defender from anywhere on the field and Ohio State is getting a prospect who is impossible to defend 1v1. Another item that pops about Rice's skill set is his poise. Rice will patiently carry the ball until a high-percentage scoring chance presents itself for him or a teammate. He also will not hesitate to re-dodge. Additionally, this prospect with imposing length excels at methodically backing down a defender until he gets to a preferred spot for a shot or to distribute. In 2026, Rice posted 67 goals to go along with 25 dimes for 92 points. Those incredible stats marked the second straight season that Rice recorded 85 or more points.

Robinson is an attack prospect with the rare trifecta of size, speed, and filthy stick skills. Thus, it should not come as a surprise that last week Robinson committed to Hofstra. Robinson can get downhill from anywhere on the field. He is especially adept at using a stutter step or split dodge to cook the initial defender and then dash into open space for a rip. Robinson is a highly accurate catch-and-shoot threat from GLE too. The Hofstra staff will also appreciate Robinson's ability to operate at X. From behind the net, Robinson can shake his man and then turn the corner for scoring chances around the crease. Or he can initiate from X, push up the hash, and then fire a jump shot into the net. As a bonus to his attackman skills, Robinson has flashed the ability to run at midfield too.

Rothman is a1st Team All-State pole out of New Jersey who just committed to Syracuse. At 6-foot-3 and 190 pounds, Rothman's intimidating physical presence pops immediately. Watch him for a game or two, and what will really impress you is Rothman's agility and extremely active stick that enable him to play a suffocating style of defense. Rothman can stay glued to a ball carrier for long stretches and, when the opportunity presents itself, cause a turnover via stick checks, pokes, lifts, and overheads as well as by taking the body. The high IQ Rothman also does a fantastic job of coming off his man to execute timely double teams or trail checks that put the ball on the ground. In unsettled action, Rothman has a knack for pushing up to midfield and then stopping transition opportunities for opposing teams. With his sizeable wingspan and anticipation skills, Rothman also has a habit of disrupting passing lanes with his stick.
