Davis is a long and rangy pole with polished footwork and textbook fundamentals. That list of assets allows Davis to stay in front of ball carriers for long stretches and turn them repeatedly. His size advantage enabled Davis to effectively lean on ball carriers during those stretches, too. Once Davis had worn down his opponent, he unleashed a heavy stick check or crafty poke that put the ball on the turf. This agile pole then pounced on those GBs and used his speed to race upfield for a transition opportunity. In June, Davis also proved that he is an excellent team defender. He executed timely slides as well as double teams and communicated well with his teammates. As a bonus to his close defense skills, Davis also flashed that he could run at SSDM.

On the June circuit, Myers demonstrated that he is a speedy attackman with elusive change-of-direction moves and filthy stick skills. His ability to shake his initial defender and then charge to the net placed constant pressure on opposing defenses. If the opposing defense slid too late, Myers dashed to the crease for scoring chances in close. When opponents slid too early, Myer distributed to open teammates. This lefty also showed he could blow past his defender, run into open space, and then slam on the brakes for a 12-to-15-yard rip. Last month, Myers also operated from X as a scorer and distributor. His field vision and timing allowed him to effectively feed cutters from behind the net.

One of Pennsylvania's most athletic and agile face-off specialists posted a monster June. At events such as NHSLS, Philly Showdown, and the One Percent Showcase, Proctor dominated opponents with his clean pick-and-pop skills. Once Proctor had the ball in his stick, his explosive speed enabled him to separate from the pack and race deep into the offensive end for a scoring chance. Proctor's elite stick skills and ability to shoot with either hand made him a legitimate threat to score on every charge to the net. College coaches will love the way Proctor sprinted through stick and body checks while maintaining possession. On face-offs that got messy, Proctor's nose for the ball, agility, and smooth footwork enabled him to locate the rock and then vacuum it up in traffic. When fighting for loose balls, Proctor also did a fantastic job of moving opponents with his solid frame.

Last month, Simonetti proved to be a highly skilled, versatile, and extremely gritty FOGO. One item that really popped about Simonetti's skill set was the variety of ways by which he won faceoffs. He executed clean clamps, sending him sprinting into the offensive end. Simonetti also smartly used defensive exits to secure possession. His ability to win the clamp and then snap the ball to one of his wings was remarkable. Other times, Simonetti spun on his opponent, boxed him out, and then picked up the GB. Of course, Simonetti dropped to the turf and grinded out wins too. During events in June, Simonetti also displayed a high IQ. Specifically, his decision-making on when to push transition scoring chances versus when to value possession and drop the ball off to a teammate was always on point. Simonetti's non-stop motor and active stick produced impressive ground ball wins in traffic.

One of the top available 2027 prospects in Pennsylvania played extraordinary lacrosse in June. Somers is an athletic and fleet-footed LSM who recently showcased extraordinary two-way skills. His ability to cause a turnover or snare a ground ball, and then sprint across midfield into the offensive end, frequently created quality scoring chances for his Ascent team. Somers proved that he owns the stick skills to fire on net or distribute while pushing those transition opportunities. Defensively, Somers demonstrated that he is a menacing ball hawk who is capable of pursuing ball carriers all over the field. His habit of pressing out on a ball carrier, as far as midfield sometimes, completely disrupted the flow of opposing offenses. Somers caused turnovers with his stick checks, pokes, lifts, and overheads. This high-IQ LSM also proved that he has mastered the art of timely trail checks.
