This past week, the summer 2026 recruiting circuit kicked into high gear.

So today we thought it was time to highlight five prospects from the Delaware Valley who college coaches need to scout during the last two weeks of June and beyond.

This past spring, Duncan posted a breakout sophomore campaign as he poured in 42 goals and dished out 25 assists. Those remarkable 2026 stats pushed Duncan over the 100 career points mark and earned him a 2nd team All-State selection in Delaware. Duncan is a long, athletic, and solidly built midfielder with a quick burst. That list of assets enables Duncan to excel in transition. In 6v6 action, those same items allow Duncan to dodge from up top or the wing, get downhill in a flash and then crank shots into the net while on the run. Duncan's ability to dodge going left or right and then shoot with either hand makes him extremely difficult to defend. This big lefty can also charge all the way to the cage for a scoring chance in close. Once there, Duncan owns a deep bag of creative finishes that he can use to score around the crease. This 2028 prospect has flashed solid SSDM and face-off wing skills, too.

Paul is a quick-twitch athlete who can blow past his initial defender on the perimeter and change direction multiple times in tight spaces. That explosive element is complemented by extremely polished footwork and elusive stick maneuvers. In short, Paul is impossible to defend 1v1. Once he finds open space, Paul can rip deep shots from multiple angles into the net. Paul is a master at cranking long-range bouncers past opposing goalies. On dodges where he pushes for a closer shot, Paul can finish around the cage with either hand. An underrated aspect of Paul's game is his well-timed off-ball movements that produce dunks on the back post and in front of the net.

Planck is a long, athletic, and versatile prospect. This sophomore has demonstrated that he can impact the game from midfield as well as all three attack spots. Still, Planck is most effective when he operates from X or the corners. From those spots, Planck can burst past his defender and then streak to the middle of the field for a shot on the run. Or he can sweep around from X, execute an inside spin move, and then score in close. Planck's wiry frame and polished footwork enable him to slip between defenders on his runs to the net. Of course, Planck can crank catch and fire shots from GLE, too. At 6-foot-3, Planck can see over the top of most defenses. Combine that fact with his patience and field vision, and you get an extraordinary feeder.

Slachta is next up in the long line of highly skilled and athletic poles the Haverford School has produced. In addition to being athletic and skilled, Slachta owns a solid frame, an active stick, and a non-stop motor. When you combine all of these items with Slachta's aggressive style, you get a disruptive defensive force who causes havoc for opposing offenses. Slachta's ability to press out on ball carriers all the way to midfield is a game-changer. Once he has caused a turnover on the perimeter, he will secure the ground ball and then push the fast break. Slachta will also cause turnovers by snaring or knocking down ill-advised passes. At close defense, Slachta will use his physicality to push ball carriers off their intended paths. Slachta's physical slides are always on point, too.

This two-way midfield prospect is one of the top available 2027s in Pennsylvania. Last weekend at Boys Summer Slam in suburban Philadelphia, Stribrny turned heads with shifty moves that created scoring opportunities for himself and teammates. Specifically, he excelled at using slick rollbacks to separate from his defender. Additionally, Stribrny impressed with his ability to shoot/pass with both hands. Stribrny also proved that he could get downhill from anywhere on the field and then run through significant contact for a scoring chance around the crease. The quick release, power, and accuracy on Stribrny's shot make him a legitimate step-down threat, too. College coaches will love Stribrny's high lacrosse IQ.
